5-ALA, essential in the generation of energy in our bodies and which maintains our lives, is created in various organisms including plants and animals. 5-ALA is reported to exist in various foods, and especially in fermented food.
Note: Aminolevulinic Acid phosphate can be used as food as recognized by the MHLW, which regulates the definition of foods and drugs.
